Univision launches internal full-service ad agency to manage its 12 TV channels’ $500 million inventory

Univision Communications announced the creation of its new Univision Agency to manage its advertising space worth more than $500 million across all of Univision’s broadcasting, cable and radio assets, as well as taking charge of all promotions for the different channels while providing research and creative services for clients and the company’s different divisions.To serve its constantly expanding portfolio of networks and platforms, and in line with its reputation as a top innovator in the sector, the media giant has formed a new centralized team that will be an integral part of Univision networks. The agency will define the promotional priorities and will provide advertising strategies and creativity across the entire family of Univision networks.Univision Agency will be headed by Joni Fernandez, recently promoted to senior VP, and will report to Jessica Rodriguez, executive VP of programming and promotions, who spearheaded the project over the past months.“We have created a first-of-its kind agency to instill one voice and one vision for Univision, UniMas, Galavision, and all of our media properties – something no other media company has done. Forming the Univision Agency is a strategic step towards developing a promotional and creative vision that will set the standard in our industry,” said Univision president and CEO Randy Falco.
